Business Insight Analyst - North America

We are looking for a Business Insight Analyst who knows how to present information drawn from large datasets and drill down into the findings that direct clients to their competitive advantage.

As part of an Insight Team, which works closely with Customer Success Managers, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients are supported with the right data at the right time.

Objectives and responsibilities of this role

  • Using data analytics skills (aggregation, data mining, statistical analysis) to create repeatable reporting templates and processes
  • Producing ad hoc analytics to support strategic conversations
  • Systematically producing analysis to understand the Return on Investment our clients have generated
  • Producing high-quality work to ensure we maintain our world-class net promoter score
  • Actively learning and applying modern data analytics tools, methodologies, and data visualizations

Skills and Qualifications

  • Commercially minded and able to produce data that leads to actionable insight
  • Able to wrangle data from a variety of data sources to repeatedly create high-quality datasets that support your work. We use mostly SQL and ElasticSearch databases
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple projects managing multiple deliverables and deadlines
  • 3+ years experience in a data analytics role
  • Advanced Excel & SQL. Experience of scripting, for example, Python, is a great bonus
  • Previous experience with one or more of Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio
  • Relevant degree or demonstrable work experience
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • eCommerce and FMCG background would be an advantage
