Sales Engineer – North America

As a Sales Engineer, you’ll play a key role both in continuing our phenomenal growth and in shaping our Product Roadmap. You’ll be part of our international Product Engineering team, working day to day with our Sales and Customer Success teams in North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the key business drivers of prospective customers
  • Shape compelling solutions to those business drivers, based around our platform
  • Clearly and compellingly communicate the solution through RFX responses, demonstrations and trials
  • Lead in commissioning our platform with customers, particularly handling configuration and integrations with their key systems
  • Help shape our Product Roadmap to ensure it reflects the needs and opportunities you’ve found working with customers

Skills and Qualifications

  • B.Sc in Software Engineering or an equivalent
  • 4+ years track record of shaping and delivering technology solutions. You’re able to shape the big picture and then lead in delivering it
  • Able to quickly learn and apply a broad range of technologies, such as Google Cloud, BigQuery, noSQL and SQL databases, REST APIs, Looker and IT fundamentals such as SSO
  • Excellent communication skills. You’re equally adept at explaining tech to non-technical senior execs and working with engineers to solve problems
  • A highly motivated self-starter with excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Experience as a Sales Engineer, Solution Engineer, or Solutions Consultant is an advantage
  • Able to travel (only when it’s safe again) up to 20% of the time
